Charoset

For Passover

  • 1 cup shelled walnuts
  • 6 McIntosh apples, peeled, cored and coarsely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon or to taste
  • Malaga or Concord wine as needed

Pulse nuts in food processor until finely chopped. Add apples and cinnamon. Pulse, adding wine as needed, to form a paste.
