Makes 2 cups; serves 4 to 6
- 2 cups water
- 1 vegetable bouillon cube (salted or salt-free)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated onion
- 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt to taste, if needed
In a small saucepan, whisk all ingredients (except salt) together
until well combined. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook, whisking, until
thickened slightly. Taste, and add salt if desired.
